What Does Your Mind Attract?
Introduction
This is a section from the book “Create Abundance” by Zhang Xinyue 创造丰盛 that deals with our minds and how we think.
How to deal with strong emotions
We all have people in our lives that we don’t like. Maybe it’s someone in your family or circle of friends. Perhaps you’ve tried and failed to be kind to this person. At times, we all deal with strong emotions like anger, love, hatred and jealousy. And too often, we don’t deal well with these emotions. We may even allow them to get the best of us.
Do you ever lose control?
Some of us have a harder time than others with our emotions. There are many people today who get so angry they may desire to yell, argue or get violent. Strong emotions can be difficult to deal with. If you’ve had a hard time with something like anger, then you may already know how difficult it can be to get those feelings under control.
Part of you wants to do the right thing and handle the situation with calm attention. But part of you may lash out. Very often, when we’ve struggled with strong emotions, we develop responses that are unproductive. Someone may say something to you that triggers anger. Your response is always the same. You feel furious and want to lash out.
These events can unfold over and over and you never seem to learn the correct way to handle things.
How to Solve This Issue
The ultimate answer lies in fear as the root cause. Everyone has an inner fear that the soul was born with. Among human emotions, fear lies at a low level, and further below is love. Of course, true love has no fear, but many of the feelings we have for people are described as love when actually they are something else.
In order to deal with this emotion, you must first understand what is at the root of the fear. What are you afraid of? Where did this fear originate? Why is it there?
